What should I bring to compete at a rally?

The very nature of rallies is that they need to be in relatively unpopulated areas where the organizers can secure road permissions. If they are held in a sparsely populated area, then odds are high every one will need to travel a long distance to get there. And usually this means...

You forget to pack something.

The best way to not forget anything is have a list, an inventory, of everything you need to bring. To help you on your way we have some actual inventories below. These were used by a grassroots team that had about a dozen rallies under their belt.

Keep in mind that the point of sharing these documents is not to say "here's a complete list of stuff you need to bring and leave the rest at home". To be useful, these will need to be modified to your skill set, your tool supply, your budget, your race vehicle, and your tow rig. But these will get you started and give you a sanity check to benchmark your progress.
